Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, SHPL representatives will assist to transfer you to the hotel.  Overnight stay at the hotel Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Kathmandu

Morning after breakfast start for visit to Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage. After completion of these two spots, you will be taken for sightseeing to City Durbar Square. This square is famous for old palaces, temples, Kumari Ghar and so on. Now we move on to Syambhunath, famous world heritage sight with magnificent views of the Kathmandu valley and tribute to Buddhism. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Kathmandu - Nagarkot

Early Morning bird watching, take breakfast and departure for Nagarkot. Rest of the day free. Stay over night at hotel.

Day04 :  Nagarkot - Kathmandu

Early morning, look around the sites, beautiful mountain landscape with panoramic mountain views, sunrise view, and Take breakfast at the hotel and then drive back to Bhaktapur for couple of hour sight seeing in bhaktapur. Bhaktapur city is known as one of the oldest city in Kathmandu valley. After sight seeing drive back to kathmandu. Over night at hotel.

Day 05 : Kathmandu - Pokhra

Later,Proceed to Pokhra (205 Kms / 06 Hrs),Arrive Pokhra,Overnight stay at the hotel Pokhra.

Day 06 : Pokhra

Visit Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple,Goddess Durga. Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Pokhara -Lumbini - Gorakhpur

Take breakfast and then drive to Lumbini (8/9 hours driving) upon arrival visit Lumbini. Drive to Gorakhpur, Overnight stay at Gorakhpur.

Day 08 : Gorakhpur - Kushinagar

Morning visit Birth place of Lord Buddha, Later leave for Kushinagar - Kushinagar is where the Buddha finally attained Mahaparnirvana. Amongst the ruins are the Mukutbandhan Stupa and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha,on arrival transfer to hotel . Afternoon visit Nirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa & Cremation site of Lord Buddha, overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Kushinagar - Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya

Morning leave for Bodhgaya - Asthe place of the Buddha's Enlightenment, Bodhgaya is the spiritual home of Buhddhists. It attracts tens of thousands of believers from all over the world. Bodhgaya situated near the river Niranjana, is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centres since it was herethat Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, enroute visit Nalanda & Rajgir - Like many others in search of truth, Prince Siddhartha, after he renounced his royal heritage came to this city to seek the path of vation. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi

Visit the Mahabodhi Temple for the prayers and meditate near the Bodhi Tree. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Later visit the Sri Lankan monastery. Later in the day visit the village of Sujata, which is where a woman with the same name gave Lord Buddha his first meal ( milk & rice pudding ) after he came out of the austerities he was performing and broke his fast. Later drive to Varanasi.

Day 11 : Varanasi
Upon arrival in Varanasi, Shweta travel representatives will assist to transfer you to the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy sightseeing tour of Varanasi. The tour covers Temples, one of the biggest universities of India (Banaras Hindu University). In the evening, view “Aarati” ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 12 : Varanasi - Dep.
In the morning, enjoy boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10km east of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon.
